Rabbit Anti-ATP7A
Copper-transporting ATPase 1 (EC 3.6.3.54) (Copper pump 1) (Menkes disease-associated protein), ATP7A, MC1 MNK

May supply copper to copper-requiring proteins within the secretory pathway, when localized in the trans-Golgi network. Under conditions of elevated extracellular copper, it relocalized to the plasma membrane where it functions in the efflux of copper from cells.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry: 1:300-1:500 Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to aa257-488 from human copper-transporting ATPase 1 protein.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 0.03% Proclin 300, 50% glycerol.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human ATP7A.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
