Mouse Anti-Acrp30 (Adipocyte Complement-related Protein of 30kD, Adiponectin, AdipoQ, apM1, Gelatin Binding Protein 28, GPB28) (MaxLight 650)

MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.

Human Adiponectin, also referred to as AdipoQ, Acrp30, apm-1 or GBP28, is a secreted protein expressed exclusively in differentiated adipocyte (an adipokine family member). Adiponectin contains a modular structure comprising an N-terminal collagenous domain followed by a C-terminal globular domain (gAcrp30). Adiponectin plays a role in various physiological processes such as energy homeostasis and obesity. Plasma levels of adiponectin are reduced in obese humans, and decreased levels are associated with insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia.
Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000. ~64kD band observed in mouse liver cell lysates. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Recombinant corresponding to aa15-244 of human adiponectin expressed in E. coli.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with MaxLight™650.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes the collagen-like domain of adiponectin.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
