Rabbit Anti-Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) VP1, VP2, VP3 (Not for Export EU)

VP1 and VP2 are highly enriched in the nucleus, while non-assembled VP3 is evenly distributed in the nucleus and the cytoplasm. Epitope identified aa726-733 (C-terminus; common to all 3 VP proteins) as the specific binding region.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:200-1:500 Immunoprecipitation: 1:10 Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Recombinant adeno-associated virus (AAV-2) capsid proteins, expressed in baculovirus.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS containing stabilizing protein, 0.09% sodium azide. Use PBS for further dilutions.
Purity
Serum.
Specificity
Recognizes VP1, VP2 and VP3 of Adeno-associated Virus 2. Also recognizes serotypes AAV1 through AAV9, AAVDJ, AAVrh10 and AAVrh74.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
