Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:250-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide, aa75-86 (TPWGYFDFNRFHC) of major coat protein VP3 (AAV 2), residues 278–289 of capsid protein VP1 (AAV 6), and residues 277-288 of capsid AAV 3].
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.02% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes major coat protein VP3 [AAV 2], capsid protein VP1 [AAV 6], and capsid protein AAV 3.
