Mouse Anti-AP1g1 (AP-1 Complex Subunit gamma-1, Adapter-related Protein Complex 1 Subunit gamma-1, Adaptor Protein Complex AP-1 Subunit gamma-1, ADTG, Clathrin Assembly Protein Complex 1 gamma-1 Large Chain, Gamma1-Adaptin, CLAPG1, Golgi Adaptor HA1/AP1 Adaptin Subunit gamma-1)

Assembly Polypeptides (AP), also known as adaptors, co-assemble with clathrin during the formation of clathrin coated membranes. The AP-1 adaptor is localized at the trans-Golgi network. Gamma-adaptin is one of four subunits of the AP-1 adaptor.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 2-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Assembly polypeptide 1 (AP-1) adaptor polypeptides from bovine brain.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder 2% BSA, 1.2% sodium acetate, 0.2% sodium azide. Reconstitute with 1ml PBS (pH 7.4).
Purity
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes bovine AP-1 complex subunit gamma-adaptin at 91kD. Species Crossreactivity: Human and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
