Mouse Anti-ATPase, p97

p97 ATPase is implicated in homotypic membrane fusion events and is related to the N-ethyl maleimide-sensitive fusion protein NSF/Sec18p.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Not suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000. Dilution Buffer: 0.15M PBS, 0.1% BSA, 0.1% sodium azide (ECL: 5% milk powder in TBST) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control
Protein extracts from all vertebrate tissues and cells.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
15S Mg2+ ATPase complex purified from Xenopus laevis ovary.
Form
Supplied as a liquid, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Supernatant
Specificity
Recognizes Xenopus ATPase, p97. Reacts with p97 subunit of 15S Mg2+-ATPase. Species Crossreactivity: rabbit, rat, human, vertebrate cells and tissues. Does not crossreact with the corresponding protein in budding yeast (Cdc48p).

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
