Goat Anti-BD2 (beta Defensin-2, beta 2 Defensin, Defensin beta 2, BD 2, BD-2, DEFB2, DEFB-2, HBD 2, HBD2, HBD-2, DEFB102, Skin Antimicrobial Peptide 1, SAP1)
Beta 4 Defensin, Defensin 4 beta, Defensin beta 4, DEFB4, DEFB-4

Expression of BD-2 is induced during inflammation in response to bacterial products and cytokines, and is initially expressed in a precursor form, which is cleaved to release the C-terminal active portion of the protein.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 0.5ug/ml Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C for short-term only.Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
