Goat Anti-BIN1 (Myc Box-dependent-interacting Protein 1, Amphiphysin II, Amphiphysin-like Protein, Box-dependent Myc-interacting Protein 1, Bridging Integrator 1, AMPHL)

Box-dependent myc interacting protein 1 (BIN1) interacts with and inhibits the oncogenic activity of the myc oncoprotein and thus may act as a tumor suppressor.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1000 Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-SDNAPAKGNKSPS, from human BIN1, at the internal region of the protein (NP_004296.1, NP_647593.1, NP_647594.1).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human BIN1. Species sequence homology: Bovine, canine, mouse, porcine and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
