Rat Anti-c-erbB2 (HER-2, neu Receptor) (Biotin)

Recommended Secondary Reagents: F(ab')2 rabbit anti-rat IgG HRP

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry: frozen and paraffin tissues. Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with Biotin.
Purity
Purified by Ion Exchange chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes the human Her2/neu (also known as c-erbB-2) proto-oncogene, which is expressed at the cell surface of a range of tumor cells. In many types of tumor Her2/neu expression is related to poor prognosis, with an increased risk of metastasis. ICR55 recognizes epitope E of Her2/neu.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
