Mouse Anti-Calcitonin Gene Related Peptide, alpha (CGRPa)
Calcitonin gene-related peptide is a 37aa vasoactive neuropeptide widely expressed throughout the central and peripheral nervous system. CGRP has potent vasodilatory effects probably serving as a regulator of regional blood flow, in addition to a variety of other cellular effects.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa1-18 of human a-CGRP. Species Sequence Homology: human b-CGRP (50%)

Specificity
Recognizes human a-CGRP. Species Crossreactivity: rat
