Rat Anti-CCR5 (Chemokine Receptor 5, CC-CKR-5, CD195) (FITC)

CD195 is a 45kD glycoprotein also known as CCR5. CD195 acts as a receptor for a number of chemokines including RANTES and eotaxin and also serves as a co-receptor for the entry of HIV into cells. CD195 is expressed by a subset of T lymphocytes and by monocytes.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10, 10ul labels 100ul fresh whole blood Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Hybridoma
Spleen cells from immunized rats were fused with cell of the rat Y3 myeloma cell line.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
CHO cells transfected with human CCR5.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes human CCR5

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
