Rabbit Anti-CCR10 (CC Chemokine receptor 10, CC-CCR-10, G protein-coupled receptor 2, GRP2)
Recently, a function has been assigned to a previously identified orphan chemokine receptor, GPR-2. This receptor, also called CCR10, binds with monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP)-1, MCP-3 and MIP-1 beta. CCR10 is expressed by melanocytes, dermal fibroblasts, dermal microvascular endothelial cells, T cells as well as in skin-derived Langerhans cells. CCR10 may play a role in both skin homeostasis as well as a potential role in inflammatory responses.
Applications
Suitable for use Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml In A-375, ~50kD band is observed. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control: A-375 or MCF-7
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Peptide corresponding to amino acids 350-362 of human CCR10.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.05% sodium azide, 0.2% gelatin.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes CCR10. Species Crossreactivity: Human. Predicted to crossreact with mouse. In this region, mouse and human amino acid sequences are 100% identical.
