Mouse Anti-CD11c (Monocyte, Macrophage, Integrin alphaX) (FITC)

CD11c is a 150kD adhesion glycoprotein that associates with beta2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer that binds CD54 (ICAM-1) and fibrinogen. It is expressed on NK cells, a subset of B and T cells, granulocytes, monocytes, and macrophages. It functions in cytotoxic T cell killing and in neutrophil and monocyte adhesion to endothelium.1-6

Applications
• Flow cytometry • Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections)
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: 20ul/10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide and a stabilizing agent. Labeled with FITC.
Purity
Purified
Specificity
Recognizes human CD11c.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
