Rat Anti-CD13 (Myeloid Cells, Aminopeptidase N)

Aminopeptidase N (APN) is a cell surface protein homologous with human CD13. In the mouse, CD13 is a non-covalently linked homodimer of approximately 150kD subunits expressed by a variety of cells including monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cell and veiled cells.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of the IR983F rat myeloma cell line.
Recommended Negative Control
I1904-82D1: Rat IgG2a Negative Control
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Mouse intestinal APN
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse APN.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
