MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000.

Ovine CD31 is predominantly expressed by peripheral blood platelets and a small percentage of lymphocytes. CD31 is also highly expressed by ovine endothelial cells. Reported to inhibit homotypic leukocyte aggregation induced by anti CD43 antibodies (2). Removal of sodium azide is recommended prior to use in fuctional assays.
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the SP2-0/Ag14 mouse myeloma cell line.
Recommended Negative Control
I1904-83P1: IgG2a Murine Negative Control
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Ovine leukocytes
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with MaxLight™490.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes sheep CD31, also known as PECAM-1|Species Crossreactivity: bovine and goat
