Porcine CD31 is a 740 amino acid ~140kD single pass type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein bearing six Ig-like C2-type domains. CD31 is expressed by various cell types, but particularly by endothelial cells where it is required for leukocyte transendothelial migration (UniProt: Q95242).
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
