Mouse Anti-CD41, CD61 (CD41b, GP2B, GP-IIb, GPIIb, GP3A, GP-IIIa, GPIIIa, GTA, HPA3, Integrin alpha 2b, ITGA2B, Integrin beta 3, ITGB3, Platelet Glycoprotein IIb of IIb/IIIa Complex) (Biotin)

CD41/61 is a heterodimeric cell surface protein that is expressed on chicken thrombocytes and cells of the thrombocyte lineage. Avian thrombocytes are nucleated equivalents of mammalian platelets that play a role in coagulation and phagocytosis.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
X63/A63-653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Peripheral blood leukocytes from white leghorn chicken.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with Biotin.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes the chicken integrin CD41/61. Reported to induce thrombocyte activation.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
