CD45, also known as the leukocyte common antigen (LCA), exists as four different isoforms (180, 190, 205, 220kD) that are generated by alternative splicing of three exons. LCA is found on all cells of hematopoietic origin, except erythrocytes and platelets. CD45 expression is required for T cell and B cell antigen receptor-mediated activation.
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Flow Cytometry: 10ul/10e6 cells Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with Cy5.
Specificity
Recognizes human CD45.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
