Mouse Anti-CD53

CD53 cell surface antigen is also known as Tetraspanin-25. CD53 is a 219 amino acid multi pass transmembrane glycoprotein of 32-42 kDa. CD53 is expressed by all leucocytes, but is absent from erythrocytes and platelets.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: Non-reducing conditions Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:25. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes the human CD53 cell surface antigen.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
