Mouse Anti-CD86 (Activation B7-2 Antigen, B70, B7-2, BU63, CD28LG2, CTLA-4 Counter-receptor B7.2, FUN-1, LAB72, MGC34413, T-lymphocyte Activation Antigen CD86 Precursor) (MaxLight 490)
MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000.
CD86 is also known as B7-2 and is the second ligand for CD28 and CTLA-4. It may have an important role in co-stimulation of T cells in the primary immune response.
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: 1:20-1:100. Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:20-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Fusion Partners
Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of the P3 X63 Ag8.653 myeloma cell line.
Positive Control Tissue (IHC)
Human Tonsil
Recommended Negative Control
I1904-78R: IgG1 Murine Negative Control
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
