Mouse Anti-CD104 (Integrin beta4) (FITC)

Human CD104 ( b4 integrin) associates with the a6 integrin chain and binds to laminin and epiligrin and likely has cell-cell adhesion functions. CD104 is involved in signal transduction.

Functional Application: Partially blocks laminin binding.
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
UM-SCC-1, human squamous cell carcinoma
Form
Supplied as a liquid in FBS, 50mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 100mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 5% Glycerol, 0.2% BSA, 0.04% NaN3.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes the CD104 molecule of about 205kD.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
