Rabbit Anti-Chorionic Gonadotropin, Equine (CG) (Not for Export EU)

Equine chorionic gonadotropin (eCG) is a gonadotropic hormone produced in the chorion of pregnant mares. Most commonly called pregnant mare's serum gonadotropin (PMSG) in the past, the hormone is commonly used in concert with progestogen to induce ovulation in livestock prior to artificial insemination.

Applications
Suitable for use in RIA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:500-1:10,000 RIA: 1:500,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder, 137mM mannitol. Reconstitute with 20ul/100ul of sterile ddH2O.
