Carnitine palmitoyltransferase I related C, carnitine acyltransferase-like protein 1, CPT1-like pseudogene, FLJ23809, CPTIC, CPT1P, CATL1, carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1C, CPT1C
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:16,000 Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml detects ~100kD observed in Human Brain (Frontal Cortex) lysates (calculated MW of 91.0kD according to NP_689572.1). Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-KSSTKTDSHRLGQH, from the internal region of human CPT1C (NP_689572.1).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, pH 7.2, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by peptide affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human CPT1C. Species sequence homology: canine and bovine.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
