Rabbit Anti-Cullin 7 (CUL-7, p185, KIAA0076, Cullin homolog 7, p180)
Cullins (1, 2, 3, 4a, 5 and 7) are a family of proteins that assemble a large number of ubiquitin ligases to catalyse polyubiquitiation, as well as binding to various specific factors to recruit substrates. Cullin 7 (CUL 7) is a component of SCF-like E3 ubiquitin ligase complex and may play a role in the degradation of proteins involved in endothelial proliferation and/or differentiation. Cullin 7 is a new oncogene that cooperates with Myc in transformation by blocking Myc-induced apoptosis in a p53-dependent manner.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:100 Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
