Rabbit Anti-CXCL1 (GRO/KC) (Biotin)
CXCL1, also known as Gro and KC, is an 8kD cytokine which is expressed predominantly by monocytes after activation, but is also expressed by fibroblasts, endothelial cells, synovial cells and several tumor cell lines. CXCL1 promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA (Sandwich): 0.25-1ug/ml (using 100ul/well). Used in conjunction with G8975-24A as capture, detection limit is 0.2-0.4ng/lane of recombinant rat CXCL1 Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit of recombinant Rat GRO/KC is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 0.1% BSA or HSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to rat CXCL1, expressed in E. coli.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.2. Reconstitute with 1ml sterile PBS, 0.1% BSA or HSA. Labeled with Biotin.
Purity
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes rat CXCL1.
