Rabbit Anti-Cyclin E (Not for Export EU)

Cyclin E is a member of the cyclin family. Cyclin E binds to G1 phase Cdk2, which is required for the transition from G1 to S phase. The Cyclin E/CDK2 complex phosphorylates p27Kip1 (an inhibitor of Cyclin D), tagging it for degradation, thus promoting expression of Cyclin A, allowing progression to S phase.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA: 1:100,000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:100 Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal of human Cyclin E.
Form
Supplied as a liquid, 0.01% sodium azide.
Purity
Serum.
Specificity
Recognizes human Cyclin E at 45kD. IEP Assay shows a single precipitin arc against source serum protein and IgG. No reaction was observed against other related cyclins.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
