Mouse Anti-Cytokeratin 5,8 (MaxLight 650)

MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.

Cytokeratins are a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins and are characterized by a remarkable biochemical diversity, represented in epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides. They range in molecular weight from between 40kD and 68kD and isoelectric pH between 4.9 – 7.8, The individual cytokeratin polypeptides are designated 1–20. The various epithelia in the human body usually express cytokeratins which are not only characteristic of the type of epithelium, but also related to the degree of maturation or differentiation within an epithelium. Cytokeratin subtype expression patterns are used to an increasing extent in the distinction of different types of epithelial malignancies
Applications
Suitale for use in Western Blot Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:100-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and paraffin): 1:100-1:200 Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-1:200 Flow Cytometry: 1:100-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
