Cytokeratin 7 is a type II keratin and a member of intermediate filament family of proteins. Cytokeratin 7 is expressed in cultured epidermal, bronchial and mesothelial cells.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin and Formalin): 2.0-4.0ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Cytoskeletal preparation of the RT4 human bladder carcinoma cell line.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from 1.2% sodium acetate, 2% BSA, 0.2% sodium azide. Reconstitute with 1ml of PBS.

Purified by affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human Cytokeratin 7 at 51kD.
