Mouse Anti-Dectin-1 (C-type Lectin Domain Family 7 Member A, Dendritic Cell-associated C-type Lectin 1, DC-associated C-type Lectin 1, Beta-glucan Receptor, CANDF4, C-type Lectin Superfamily Member 12, CLEC7A, BGR, CLECSF12, DECTIN1, UNQ539/PRO1082) (PE)

Dectin-1, also known as beta-glucan receptor (ßGR), is a C-type lectin domain family member. It is a major pathogen pattern-recognition receptor that binds beta-glucans, glucose polymers that form cell-wall components or exopolymers of yeasts, fungi and some bacteria. Beta-glucans have also been used experimentally and therapeutically as immunomodulators that enhance resistance to bacterial, yeast, viral and protozoan infections, as well as tumor formation. Dectin-1 also acts as a co-stimulatory molecule on T-cells to induce their proliferation and is necessary for the TLR2-mediated inflammatory response. It is highly expressed on peripheral blood leukocytes and dendritic cells.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:200; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
NIH3T3 cells expressing full length Beta-glucan receptor.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE).
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes human Dectin-1.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
