Goat Anti-DECTIN 2 (C-type Lectin Domain Family 6, Member A CLECSF10,C-type Lectin Superfamily Member 10, Dendritic Cell-associated C-type Lectin 2, DC-associated C-type Lectin 2, Dectin-2, Clec6a, Clec4n, Dectin2) (APC)
Dectin-2a is a Type II transmembrane protein belonging to the C-Type lectin superfamily and is designated CLECSF10. At least 2 truncated isoforms (2b and 2y) exist as a result of alternative splicing.
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing APC conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. APC conjugates are sensitive to light.
Immunogen
Purified, NS0-derived, recombinant mouse Dendritic Cell-associated C-Type (Ca 2+-dependent, carbohydrate recognition domain) lectin-2a (aa43-209), extracellular domain.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 1ml saline, 0.5% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with Allophycocyanin (APC).
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse Dectin-2a. Exhibits ~10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human DLEC by direct ELISA.
