Goat Anti-DOCK1 (Dedicator of Cytokinesis Protein 1, 180kD Protein Downstream of CRK, DOCK180)

DOCK1 binds to the SH3 domain of CRK protein. It may regulate cell surface extension and may have a role in the cell surface extension of an engulfing cell around a dying cell during apoptosis.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 3-4ug/ml, A431 cell lysate observed on ~150-200kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-TTRKQTSVDSGIVQ, from human DOCK1, at C-terminal (NP_001371.1).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human DOCK1. Species sequence homology: Bovine, canine, mouse, porcine and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
