Rabbit Anti-Dopamine Receptor D2 (DRD2)
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS containing BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
D2 (272-282) covalently attached onto a carrier protein.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder. Reconstitution with 100ul sterile PBS, containing 10mg/ml BSA.
Specificity
Recognizes D2 Dopamine Receptor (272-282). The reactivity of D2L Dopamine Receptor and D2 Dopamine Receptor is 60% and the reactivity of D2S Dopamine Receptor is 75%. Does not react to D1 Dopamine Receptor (9-21), D1 Dopamine Receptor, D3 Dopamine Receptor (2-10), D3 Dopamine Receptor, D4 Dopamine Receptor (176-185), D4 Dopamine Receptor, D5 Dopamine Receptor (23-35) and D5 Dopamine Receptor. Highly specific for this peptide sequence and are suitable for immunocytochemical and Western Blot detection of the D2 dopamine receptor.
