Rat Anti-EphB2 (Ephrin Type-B Receptor 2, Neural Kinase, Nuk Receptor Tyrosine Kinase, Tyrosine-protein Kinase Receptor EPH-3, Tyrosine-protein Kinase Receptor SEK-3, Epth3, Nuk, Sek3) (PE)
EphB2, also known as Cek5, Nuk, Erk, Qek5, Tyro5, Sek3, Hek5, and Drt, is a 125kD member of the transmembrane Eph receptor tyrosine kinase family. The 90kD extracellular domain can be shed from neurons by calcium ionophores or NMDA receptor agonists. The interaction between EphB2 and Ephrin-A5 promotes axonal growth cone collapse, while its interactions with Ephrin-B ligands are required for inner ear, renal, urorectal, and vascular development. Within the ECD, mouse EphB2 shares 99% aa sequence identity with human and rat EphB2.
