Rabbit Anti-Exportin-4 (Exp4, XPO4, KIAA1721)
Nuclear transport receptors of karyopherin:importin-beta superfamily mediate various transport pathways between nucleus and cytoplasm. Exportin-4 is a novel mammalian member of this family. It is a RanGTP-binding protein consisting of N-terminal RanGTP-binding motif. It functions as a nuclear export receptor for eIF-5A and also might function as an export adapter in RNA export. It is also involved in nuclear export of Smad3 and regulation of Smad signaling.
