Mouse Anti-Fetuin B (Gugu, IRL685, 16G2, FETUB) (Biotin)

Fetuin B belongs to the fetuin family, which is part of the cystatin superfamily. It is a serum glycoprotein that is expressed highly in the liver, tongue and placenta. Fetuin B has been shown to function as an inhibitor of basic calcium phosphate precipitation.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 0.5-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Recombinant human Fetuin B (aa19-362; Accession # Q9UGM5).
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS, pH 7.4, BSA. Reconstitute with sterile 500ul PBS. Labeled with Biotin.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human Fetuin B.
