Rabbit Anti-Flag (DYKDDDDK) Epitope Tag (PE)
DYKDDDDK-Tag (ECS, Enterokinase Cleavage Site, FLAG, D Tags)
Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
KLH conjugated Enterokinase cleavage site peptide DYKDDDDK. Residues of cysteine and glycine were used to facilitate coupling at the C-terminal end.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE).
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes the hydrophilic epitope tagging octapeptide sequence DYKDDDDK (Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys), when fused to either the amino- or carboxyl- terminus of target proteins. In Western Blot of bacterial extracts does not cross-react with any endogenous proteins.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
