Mouse Anti-Flt1, ED (Fms-like Tyrosine Kinase 1, Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 1, VEGF R1)

Flt1 (human 1338aa, rat 1336aa and mouse 1330aa), a putative receptor protein tyrosine kinase, is a receptor for VEGF and PLGF. Flt1 has also been described as VEGFR1 and Flk-2. It is a type 1 membrane protein and is expressed in normal lung, placenta, liver, kidney, heart, and brain but not in tumor cells.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 0.5-2.0ug/ml Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml. Use 10-20ul to label 1-2x10e5 cells in a total volume of 200-250ul. Visualize with appropriate secondary antibodies. ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 using 50-10ng of control peptide per well Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to the extracellular domain of human FLt1. Actual epitope recognized by this clone is between aa1-250 of human Flt1.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 5% trehalose.
Purity
Purified by Protein A/G affinity chromatography from ascites.
Specificity
Recognizes human Flt1 (fms-like tyrosine kinase). No significant sequence homology is seen with human VEGF-R2/KDR or other related kinases. Species Crossreactivity: mouse.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
