Sheep Anti-Fluorescein Isothiocyanate (FITC) (HRP)
Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) is a small fluoresent molecule that is commonly conjugated to antibodies for immunofluorescent cell labeling. In conjunction with anti-FITC antibodies, it can also be used as an epitope tag for detection and signal amplification
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA: 1:4000-1:8000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.
Immunogen
Fluorescein isothiocyanate (Isomer I).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 50% glycerol. No preservative added. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Purity
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes fluorescein isothiocyanate.
