Rabbit Anti-Frizzled 5 (FZD5)
The Wnt family consists of ligands involved in cell fate determination, organogenesis, and oncogenesis. The Wnt signal is thought to be transduced sequentially via a homolog of the frizzled family of receptors to GSK-3 (disheveled), beta- and gamma- catenin and finally to members of the Tcf/Lef-1 family of HMG box transcription factors. Frizzled 5 is believed to function as the receptor for the Wnt5a ligand.
