Guinea pig Anti-Glial Filament Protein (Not for Export EU)
The 56kD GFAP protein is the main subunit of intermediate filaments of glial cells and astrocytes.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:2000 Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:100; Incubate for 1 hour at RT. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:50; Incubate >1 hr at RT; extended time for paraffin sections. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
