Rat Anti-Gr-1 (GR1, Myeloid Differentiation Antigen, Lymphocyte Antigen 6 Complex Locus G, Lymphocyte Antigen 6G, Ly6g, Ly-6G, Ly-6G.1) (APC)

Ly-6G, formerly known as the myeloid differentiation antigen Gr-1, is a GPI-anchored protein.1 In the bone marrow, the level of antigen expression is directly correlated with granulocyte differentiation and maturation. It is also transiently expressed on monocytes in the bone marrow.2 In the periphery, Ly-6G is expressed predominantly on neutrophils.3, 4

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Depletion of Ly-6G+ cells. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with Allophycocyanin (APC).
Purity
Purified
Specificity
Recognizes mouse Ly-6G, Mr 21-25kD.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
