Goat Anti-GHITM (MICS1, Growth Hormone-inducible Transmembrane Protein, Dermal Papilla-derived Protein 2, Mitochondrial Morphology and Cristae Structure 1, MICS1, Transmembrane BAX Inhibitor Motif-containing Protein 5, DERP2, TMBIM5, My021, UNQ244/PRO281)

Required for the mitochondrial tubular network and cristae organization. Involved in apoptotic release of cytochrome c.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:4000 Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml, observed in human brain (cerebral cortex and cerebellum) lysates on ~38kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-PQYVKDRIHST, from human MICS1, at the internal region of the protein (NP_055209.2).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human MICS1. Species sequence homology: Bovine, canine and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
