Rabbit Anti-RASGRF1 (S929) (Ras-specific Guanine Nucleotide-releasing Factor 1, Ras-GRF1, Guanine Nucleotide-releasing Protein, Ras-specific Nucleotide Exchange Factor CDC25, CDC25, GNRP, GRF1)

RASGRF1 is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) similar to the Saccharomyces cerevisiae CDC25 gene product. Functional analysis has demonstrated that this protein stimulates the dissociation of GDP from RAS protein. Studies of the similar gene in mouse suggested that the Ras-GEF activity of this protein in brain can be activated by Ca2+ influx, muscarinic receptors, and G protein beta-gamma subunit. Mouse studies also indicated that the Ras-GEF signaling pathway mediated by this protein may be important for long-term memory.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:50-1:100 Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding S929 of human RASGRF1 (KLH).
