Rabbit Anti-HSPA1A (Y525) (Heat Shock 70kD Protein 1A/1B, Heat Shock 70kD Protein 1/2, HSP70.1/HSP70.2, HSP70-1/HSP70-2, HSPA1, HSPA1B)

HSPA1A is a member of the heat shock protein 70 family. In conjunction with other heat shock proteins, this protein stabilizes existing proteins against aggregation and mediates the folding of newly translated proteins in the cytosol and in organelles. It is also involved in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway through interaction with the AU-rich element RNA-binding protein 1.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding S525 of human HSPA1A (KLH).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human HSPA1A.
