Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 0.1-1ug/ml will allow visualization of 100ng/lane of both Recombinant Chimeric HCV Polyprotein and Recombinant NS-3 under reducing and non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recombinant NS-3 (aa1252-1477aa) and Recombinant Chimeric HCV Polyprotein (60kD.). No crossreaction can be seen with Recombinant CPC* + EPM** (core) (aa1-142), Synthetic CPC* (aa1-61), Synthetic NS-3 (aa1378-1458) and Synthetic NS-4a Protein (aa1689-1735).
