Mouse Anti-Hexokinase, Type III (HXK III)
Hexokinases phosphorylate glucose to produce glucose-6-phosphate, thus committing glucose to the glycolytic pathway. This gene encodes hexokinase 3. Similar to hexokinases 1 and 2, this allosteric enzyme is inhibited by its product glucose-6-phosphate.
Applications
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Rat Type III hexokinase.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 0.09% sodium azide.
Specificity
Recognizes rat Type III hexokinase. No crossreactivity with Type I or Type II isozymes.
