Mouse Anti-HLA Class 2 Antigen DP, DQ, DR (PE)
he major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is a cluster of genes that are important in the immune response to infections. In humans, this complex is referred to as the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) region. There are 3 major MHC class II proteins encoded by the HLA which are HLA DP, HLA DQ and HLA DR.
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Flow Cytometry: Neat. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood. Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Hybridoma
Spleen cells from an immunized BALB/c mouse were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line.
Recommended Negative Control
I1904-84B2: IgG2a Negative Control, Murine (PE)
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C before and after reconstitution. DO NOT FREEZE! Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months at 4°C after receipt. Reconstitute lyophilized powder with sterile ddH2O prior to use and store remainder as an undiluted liquid. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Human B-CLL cells.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 0.1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with R. Phycoerythrin (RPE). Reconstitute with 1ml sterile ddH2O.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes a monomorphic determinant common to DP, DQ and DR beta chains, which are expressed by antigen presenting cells, B cells, monocytes and activated T lymphocytes.
