Applications
Suitable for use in Immunoelectrophoresis and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. DO NOT FREEZE!. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Gold conjugates are light sensitive.
Country of Origin: USA
Immunogen
Chicken IgY
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 0.01M sodium borate-sodium phosphate, 0.15M sodium chloride, pH 8.5, 15mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free), 0.05% sodium azide. Labeled with 6nm Colloidal Gold. OD(520) = 1.0.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes the heavy chains on chicken IgY and the light chains common to most chicken immunoglobulins. Does not crossreact with non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Exhibits minimal crossreactivity to bovine, goat, guinea pig, syrian hamster, equine, human, mouse, rabbit, rat, sheep serum proteins.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
