Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder is stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O prior to use. To avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot reconstituted stock solution and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Purified Rat IgG, whole molecule
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in 10mM sodium phosphate, 0.15M sodium chloride, pH7.2, 10% BSA, Protease/IgG free, 0.1% Kathon CG. Rehydrate with 550ul ddH2O and let stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Purity
≥90% based on SDS-PAGE, may contain small amounts of intact IgG.
Specificity
Recognizes heavy chains on rat IgG and with the light chains on all rat immunoglobulins based on IEP. Does not recognize non-immunoglobulin rat serum proteins or IgG from human or mouse.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
