Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.

ELISA: 1:15,000 -1:60,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:5000 Western Blot: 1:2000 -1:10,000 Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher.

Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Human IgM (Fc5mu) fragment

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, containing 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free) and 0.01% (w/v) gentamicin sulfate. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).

Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-rabbit serum, human IgM and human serum. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% crossreactivity against other human heavy or light chain isotypes.
